It's no secret that your students are significant influencers for your institution.
UCAS Media state that 89% of prospective students want to see content created by students and rank student reviews as second only to an Open Day in terms of their influence on where they apply to study.
Student Ambassadors have long been a core element of open days. But increasingly, universities are producing user-generated content (UGC) online in the form of blogs, vlogs, social media takeovers and everything in between to further emphasise the students' role in influencing prospects. Across the board, well-trained and carefully managed student Ambassador teams have proven highly effective.
But what if UGC could lead to the same student-led conversations that are traditionally only accessible to prospective students able to attend open days?
On the surface, this seems like a challenging task: facilitating all those emails, finding the time required to manage conversations, the Safeguarding risk... The list goes on.
These are all valid concerns if you're using old tools. TAP reduces the risks of online one-to-one conversations to such an extent that we've now had tens of thousands occur without any serious incidents thanks to our rigorous Safeguarding processes.
With both the risks and workload reduced, it's now possible to let your students represent your institution safely online in the same way as they do on Open Day tours, for instance.
